Only 60 cases of this Limited Release award winning 2010 Pinot Noir were bottled.  This wine is ruby/purple in color and is accompanied by a sweet nose of toasty French oak intermixed with raspberries and cherries, a ripe attack, and full body.

This pure, steep hillside vineyard is planted in rich soil of the highlands of DeLuz Valley. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is borderline perfection, an unreal wine with notes of crushed rocks, acacia flowers, blueberry pie, and is intertwined with a bit of smoke, espresso roast, and chocolate.

DeLuz- Our award winning Port Style Dessert Wine.  Similar to a Tawny Port our dessert wine is made by blending cabernet grape and dragon fruit. It offers a unique taste with a fine lingering finish. In it's first "pre-release" competition, De Luz was awarded a Silver Medal at the San Diego County Fair.  In February 2012 we released our first bottles and entered De Luz in the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition where it was awared a Bronze Medeal.   Limited release of only 900 Bottles.

This medium-bodied Chardonnay has a light, golden color and aromas with avors of tropical fruit, honey, light oral notes, with a buttery taste. We have combined this with a crisp smooth finish. It has a round mouth feel and a long after taste. A Chardonnay that only the De Luz Valley could distribute. Perfect with fish and white meats. Diamonds are clear, elegant and cool thus we named this wine for its cool refreshing taste. It was designed with mixing Semillon and Viognier. The Semillion has little acidity and freshness which adds softness and richness to counter the brisk characteristics of orchard fruit found in the Viognier which is the second grapes used. Viognier

fourishes in areas that are rich in granite soil that has a heat retaining quality which is conducive to De Luz that the grape seems to thrive in. Our wine is known for its oral and fruit aromas. This wine is suitable for aging, however can be consumed young. When tasting this wine you will note it is a very crisp drinking wine. The color and the aroma of the wine suggest a sweet wine but is predominantly dry, highly aromatic and fruit forward in nature. This wine seem to pair well with spicy foods and white fish.

This Viognier takes things to another level. Mint, white flowers, pears and peaches are some of the notes that emerge from this transparent, weightless wine. There is plenty of richness but remain light on the palate. A beautifully chiseled finish rounds things out nicely and leaves you with a stone fruit finish. The first taste is lush and opulent with exuberant fruit, sometimes slightly sweet.This viognier has a Fantastic Nose, Stone Fruit aroma, and a Smooth Buttery Finish. It does well with lobster, crab and white fish. Use it as an apéritif as an alternative to Chardonnay.

Blackbird is a full bodied (Merlot) wine rich in berry, plum and currant. Great upfront nose with a peppery finish. This wine tends to have a black blue hue , with legs that go on forever. This wine has great finesse as well as potential for fine ageing. The name Merlot is thought to be derived from the old French word for young blackbird. Merlot, a

diminutive of merle, the Blackbird (Turdus Merula), is reminiscent of the color of the grape. Aged in Oak this ne rich bodied wine is perfect with meats.

Aged in Oak this is a ne rich bodied wine. Our Cabernet is well-balanced and has both a good start and an excellent smooth finish. It is also a Cabernet that can age in a wine cellar for a decade.This wine is Strong bodied and deep in purplish color. This is the type of Cabernet Sauvignon that any serious collector would want for their collection. This wine will lay in a cellar and only improve over time. Perfect with meats.

Our Pinot was cultivated in the Burgundy Noir style, which is the original French version of this varietal, resulting in a dark, intense flavor. Grown at a higher elevation, on the hillsides of De Luz, California, the grapes mature at a slower rate. Our winemaker has carefully selected the best yeast for the final preparation of our wine, with results that are rich and complex to the palate. We feel we have truly captured what can be described as an award-winning Pinot. With a limit of 264 cases for 2013.
